Jiale Li is a double-degree student in the Tsinghua University-Kyoto University Double Master's Program. Her research focuses on carbon flux concerning marine biocalcification, employing numerical analysis and the ocean-atmosphere-sediment carbon cycle model. She has also investigated metabolic carbon fluxes in coral-algae symbiosis using stable isotope analysis and gained experience in coral cultivation and physiological analysis. When in Kyoto University, she has also learned about optical chemosensors and PFAS analysis.
