Jingen Gao is a master student in Environmental Science and New Energy Technology at Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School. Her research interests focus on developing machine learning methods—especially for small-sample datasets—to predict the toxicity of emerging pollutants such as liquid crystal monomers (LCMs). With a special focus on avoiding overfitting in small-sample scenarios, her work leverages techniques such as transfer learning, QSAR modeling, and SAR analysis to enhance model generalizability and predictive accuracy.
