Led by Professor Florence and grounded in the ESG curriculum, a delegation of students from Tsinghua University visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) for a cross-institutional exchange focused on sustainable development. The visit featured a series of seminars and discussions on topics such as urban sustainability, microalgae cultivation systems, and smart building inspection technologies.

Throughout the exchange, students engaged in multidimensional learning activities, including expert lectures, site visits, and project sharing sessions with HKUST’s Sustainability/Net-Zero Office and Student Sustainability Committee. These experiences deepened our understanding of practical sustainability solutions and fostered awareness of the challenges and innovations in the field.

The exchange not only enriched our academic perspectives but also promoted meaningful cultural integration between the two institutions. By exploring real-world applications of ESG principles, students gained valuable insights and broadened their global outlook on sustainable development.
